IVNA Home Health Care

Established in 1900, IVNA is the oldest and largest freestanding, not-for-profit home health agency serving the residents of Richmond and the surrounding areas. IVNA was organized by several nurses volunteering their off-duty hours to provide home nursing care and instruction to the poor and sick citizens of Richmond.

As IVNA grew, the organization pioneered inter-agency referrals and began laying the ground work for continued cooperation with public and private agencies. IVNA maintains its commitment to continued collaborative efforts with community agencies, area businesses, and medical facilities.

IVNA continues to be recognized for high quality and compassionate care. We’ve been "opening doors to better health" in the community for over a century and we continue to do so every day while maintaining our commitment to those we serve.
